Prof Sundaravalli Narayanaswami holds her PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from IIT Bombay, after a Masters in Computer Science. As a professor in the Public Systems Group at IIMA, she teaches courses on Public-Private Partnership (PPP), Rail Transport Planning & Management (RTPM), Probity in Governance and Administration (PGA), and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
She is well published and has a vibrant and extensive consultancy experience. Her research focuses on utilising operations research (OR) tools and information & communication technologies (ICT) in public systems, for addressing real world problems in operations management, urban transportation, and governance.
