Vijay is Professor at the Centre for Management in Agriculture (CMA), Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Prior to joining IIMA, he was Agricultural Economist with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
His research and consulting interests focus on agri-food policies, agribusiness competitiveness and strategic planning, rural infrastructure, futures and options markets, agricultural trade and policy including the World Trade Organization (WTO), and food retailing.
